Abstract:

This report is based on my experience in the field of Shipping and logistics where I did my internship during the month of March to May. As a part of the curriculum every MBA student must use their summer holidays in a fruitful manner by utilizing those days in an organization and knowing in and out of it, organization structure, gaining work experience not only all these but also making them adapt to workplaces, their culture. This experience will really help them in the future when they are put up for a job. An internship is a period of work experience offered by an organization for a limited period of time. Here in this report, we will see what a PORT is and what it does EXIM, Loading and Unloading Containers, Documentations, customs and so on.
