Abstract:

Around 5% of the Indian population has difficulty speaking or cannot speak.so, sign language is non-verbal communication that is expressed by hands and facial expressions so they can understand by some people but remaining people cannot. so we proposed this project to reduce the communication gap between normal people and disabilities. The Smart Hand glove for the dumb and deaf is a wearable device designed to assist individuals who are deaf and mute in communicating with others. The glove is equipped with a variety of sensors that can detect hand gestures, finger movements, and pressure, which are then translated into spoken and written language using a smart phone app. The system utilizes machine learning algorithms to recognize and interpret these gestures, allowing the user to communicate effectively with others. The glove is designed to be lightweight, comfortable, and easy to use, with an intuitive user interface that allows the user to control the device with minimal effort. The app can also be customized to suit the user's specific needs, with the ability to add new gestures and customize the output to suit their preferred language and style. The Smart Hand Glove has the potential to revolutionize communication for people who are deaf and mute, providing them with a new level of independence and accessibility.
