Abstract:

It provides an overview of IoT-based remote health monitoring systems for critical diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, stroke, chronic pulmonary disease, diabetes mellitus, mental health conditions, and elderly patients. The review highlights the potential benefits of using wearable devices and cloud-based servers to monitor patients' vital signs and activity levels and provide personalized interventions to improve patient outcomes. The studies reviewed demonstrate the effectiveness of these systems in detecting abnormalities, promoting physical activity and rehabilitation, and monitoring patients' health, with the potential for broader implementation in remote healthcare management. Further research is required to determine the long-term benefits and challenges of using IoT-based remote health monitoring systems in different healthcare settings.
