Abstract:

Literature focusing on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's advocacy for women's rights is scarce. His unparalleled contribution to women's emancipation warrants thorough analysis. Dr. Ambedkar, influenced by feminist philosophy, vehemently opposed women's subjugation and advocated for legislative reforms to ensure their liberation. A unique aspect of Dr. Ambedkar's approach was his push for legislative safeguards to uphold women's rights. His perspective sheds new light on the struggle for women's emancipation in India. Dr. Ambedkar's efforts aligned with feminist activists' calls for gender equality and empowerment. This paper aims to delve into Ambedkar's distinctive contributions to the cause of women's liberation. Through legislative advocacy, Dr. Ambedkar sought to secure women's rights and ensure their equality in society.
