Abstract:

Recognizing the pest in the initial stage and using appropriate pesticides are the primary key elements to save the crop from huge losses. Only identifying the pest would not solve the problem, but the pesticides that to be used for the eradication of pest is the final objective. Image Processing techniques can be used to develop a Convolutional Neural Network model using TensorFlow with Keras to identify the pest in the image uploaded usingpython software. Farmer isto be informed with the respective pesticide that can be used to eradicate the pest. Farmer should initially upload the pest image, then the program would run a python session which has a trained CNN model, and it classifies the pest and provides with the name of the pest and the respective pesticides for the pest detected as the outputs.
