Abstract:

To ensure that there is a real person behind any process, verification of the certificates collaborate the genuineness. The process of validating certificates intercepts the falsification of others’ identities. In the era where the population is increasing at a rapid pace, it is a known fact that not every person follows honesty. Today in the digital world, it is tough to imagine a day without making an online transaction. We humans often spend time with applications and websites on the internet. Thus, it is mandatory to know who and what is authorized. An increasing need to verify documents has become a necessity to invent new methodologies for the verification of documents. Some kinds of documents, like academic credentials, and government certificates being sensitive in nature, require the highest degree of security to prevent any sort of forgery or discrepancy. Digitization of documents can be a viable option, but should also be ensured that it is foolproof. In this paper we studied and implement document verification with Blockchain technology helps to store digital data that is to be saved and dispensed. The information stored isnot edited. Thus, Blockchain is a base for unchangeable records. The blockchain data of transactions cannot be changed or deleted. It helps us achieve this standard of security while making the process of digitizing academic credentials fast and easy.Private Blockchains specifically help us to achieve the security aspect as well as keep the control in the hands of the authorities. Smart Contracts will be written on the private Blockchain to authenticate the credentials. These credentials can be shared with the entities requiring them, and those entities can re-verify the authenticity of the credentials using the same Blockchain network. The Blockchain can be deployed over multiple nodes, where each node belongs to specific stake holderssoth at no single person can tamper with the credentials nor issue one without the consensus.
