Abstract:

Biometrics is automated methods of recognizing a person based on a physiological or behavioral characteristic. Biometric-based solutions are able to provide for confidential financial transactions and personal data privacy. Biometrics is a rapidly evolving technology that is widely used in law-enforcement applications such as the identification of criminals and the maintenance of security in ATM centre’s and banking sectors. The various features used are face, fingerprints, hand geometry, iris and password. The multiple biometric samples are used to match the verification and authorization. The ATM System is protected with Biometric machine and it is tagged with Aadhar ID to the banking server. Once the Individual is verified with the system, it gets stored in the server and that will be verified when the person is getting inside of the ATM centre. Once the individual has a registered Aadhar ID can get access to the system. In this project, multiple biometric samples based ATM door security system is implemented. If the multiple biometric samples are matched, then the ATM entry gate will open, otherwise buzzer will give alarm. The server log has the details of the entry of the individuals with time and date.
