Abstract:

Cloud computing is a recently evolved computing terminology or metaphor based on utility and consumption of computing resources. Cloud computing involves deploying groups of remote servers and software networks that allow centralized data storage and online access to computer services or resources. One of the important components in cloud computing architecture is Cloud Storage which accompanies the threat of data security. Data Security has multiple stages like authentication, authorization and integrity. Data Auditing helps in verifying the data integrity. Clients generally offload the auditing to the third party. Auditing also involves data fetching by the third party auditor which may impact data access time by the clients. In this paper, the efficiency of improved data scheduling by bringing in auditability awareness to the cloud servers has been analyzed.
